Benson Kwabena Owusu

Biophysical Technician


Benson Owusu is an Environmental Scientist and a Scientific Secretary at the CSIR WRI, Ghana. His focus has been on environmental issues with respect to water and land, loss of biodiversity and environmental conservation policies. He has worked as an Environmental Management Consultant, and in recent years worked on impacts of small-scale mining in some selected communities within the Western and Eastern regions of Ghana. Benson holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Cape Coast and a master’s of philosophy in Environmental Science from the University of Ghana.
